The relationship is over, yet Mario Maurer’s ex-girlfriend Gubgib’ Sumontip Leuangthai continues to answer questions about Mario–the topic of them as a former couple never ends. Most recently Gubgib had commented that Mario had borrow money from her. Shouldn’t it be the other way around, he is the bigger star than her. According to both, there was no money lending involve, it was more of a throw back by Gubgib at the media for accusing her of using Mario’s money. Since her break up with Mario, reporters noted she has not been shopping much which implied she used Mario’s money and now she doesn’t have a cash cow for her shopping spree. Gubgib responded back saying: ‘how comes no one talks about how Mario used my money, how he borrowed money from me.’ It was meant as a joke. It was taken out of context. She meant it as people like to say I used Mario’s money but he used my money too. When they dated, they did share money for dinners and going out to eat. Little stuff.
Gubgib did not attend Ch3′s 43rd anniversary celebration last Saturday because she was hired for another engagement. It couldn’t be cancelled, it was not because she did not want to see Mario. Oh.
As for Mario, he didn’t think much about the money borrowing issue with Gubgib.
‘I have no feelings at all about it na, it is not a big issue. I don’t feel upset about it. Should it be cleared, probably not. There is no need to clear it because I don’t think it is a serious issue. I don’t think much of it. I don’t even know when I borrowed money from her or whatever. I don’t even know where this news came from. We never had issues with money. My fanclub members please don’t be angry on my behalf. It is an issue that is not an issue.’
